If the error persists, replace the formatter. 3. If after replacing the formatter, the error persists, replace the ECU. HP LASER PRINTER 2300 ERROR 50.X 1. A fuser error has occurred. 2. Turn printer of and then on again. 3. Replace the fuser ass'y 4. Replace the engine board. 5. If you still have a problem with the error 50 and you change all of those parts. HP LASER PRINTER P3005 1. AC Power is not being provided to the fuser assembly, AC voltage is necessary to generate heat in the fuser assembly. 2. Verify that the fuser power cable at the back of the device is connected and the ECU is fully seated. 3.Verify that the seven wire connection is firmly seated in connector J405 on the ECU. You might have to remove the main cooling fan to see this connection. 4. Verify that the four wire connection at the rear of the device is firmly seated in the fuser assembly. 5. Verify that the AC voltage is being provided to the fuser assembly. 6. if the message persists, replace the fuser assembly. HP LASER PRINTERS 3015/3020/3030MFP 1. The product has experienced an internal hardware error. 2. Turn the power switch, wait at least 20 minutes and turn the power on. 3. If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the printer directly into the wall socket. 4. Check the cabling connections to the heating element. 5. Replace the fuser. HP LASER PRINTER 3027M/3035 ERROR 50.X FUSER 1. Turn off the device to allow the fuser to cool. 8. Verify that the correct model fuser is installed in the device. 9. check the cable connections between the ECU and the fuser. 10. Disconnect the power cable from the product, wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cable and wait for the product to initialize. 3. Check the cabling connections to the heating element. 4. Perform the heating element check. 5. If the error persists, replace the heating element. 6. If after replacing the heating element, the error persists, replace the ECU. HP LASER PRINTER 3300, 3380 1. Disconnect the power cable from the product, wait at least 20 minutes, then reconnect the power cable and wait for the product to initialize. 2. Check the cabling connections to the heating element. 3. Perform the heating element check. 4. If the error persists, replace the heating element. 5. If after replacing the heating element, the error persists, replace the ECU. HP LASER PRINTER 4010, 4014, 4015 1. Power cycle the product to determine if the error is persistent. 2. Verify that the correct fuser model is installed in the product. 3. Verify that the correct voltage fuser is installed in the product. 4. Verify that the fusing assembly is firmly seated in the product chassis. Reseat the fusing the assembly, and listen for a “click” at the end of the assembly when you insert it into the product. 5. Verify that the connection to connector J82 on the DC controller PCA is firmly seated. 6. Inspect the fusing assembly connectors, at the front of the assembly, and the connectors on the high-voltage power supply PCA. Look for bent pins or debris. Clean or straighten the pins if necessary. 7. If the error persists, replace the fusing assembly. 8. If the error still persists, replace the high-voltage power supply. HP LASER PRINTER 4200, 4300, 4250, 4350 1. Turn the printer off and allow it to cool down. 2. Make sure that you put the correct model fuser in the right printer.
